Best Healthy Cafes on the Gold Coast.

If you follow us on Instagram and Snapchat you know we LOVE to eat out at delish healthy cafes. Now we’re up here on the Gold Coast it’s about time we bring you our favourite and the best healthy cafes on the Gold Coast.

If you’re planning a trip to the GC you’re gonna wanna save this epic round up and tick them all off!

Not really in any order (but maybe).

Caffe Republic

The food here is outta control mind blowing tasty goodness. At the moment we love the paleo sandwiches, before the sandwiches it was the eggs benedict with bubble and squeak with bacon (we sometimes swap the hollandaise sauce to avocado, it’s a great idea). This place doesn’t have a view of the beach but it’s worth it. Trust us! Check out the menu. One time we also ordered the choc nut smoothie and sweet potato chips. That was a good idea too.

Awesome Sunday morning with this delishness, epic biz brainstorms with @thedannorris (exciting stuff coming!) and yay for everything! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

BSKT

Oh BSKT we do love you. Extra points for epic location in between Miami and Mermaid Beach right near the beach. For brekky Emma loves the Brekky Salad and Carla loves the pancakes. Also, great for lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday. Gluten free sweet potato chips are a must! Oh! They also have health(ier) cocktails too. FUN!

Freaking yum menu here. Oh how could we forget, we have a small addiction to their thermogenic coffees (similar to Bulletproof Coffee but with coconut water and cacao butter… similar but WAY better). If you think you saw us at BSKT… there’s a 99.9% chance you did. PLUS: cocowhip. That’s all.

Because… Sweet potato chips. #makelifemerry

Cardamon Pod

Literally a 5 minute stroll from our house in Broadbeach so we love lunching or dinnering here at least once a week. It’s a vegan cafe with a heap of salads, hot food and don’t even get us started on the cakes! Not for you if you’re strictly paleo, they use lots of tofu, legumes and probably agave in their cakes (guys… use rice malt!). We’re ok with the legumes once a week and the cakes on special occasions (hehe). Oh and they’ve also just opened up a new location with an Ala carte menu. We haven’t checked it out yet but we will. Find the delish menu here and drool a little. The carrot cake and pumpkin cheese cake are the winning cakes.

Burleigh Social

Burleigh Social is oh so cute and just a short stroll from North Burleigh Beach. We order 2 things off the menu (not at the same time). The paleo breakfast which is all kinds of epic and the chocolate peanut butter smoothie. Can’t find a menu but checkout the Facebook foodporn.

It’s conveniently located next door to Dan’s (Emma’s boyfriend) brewery Black Hops Brewing.  So if you’re travelling with a beer lover and you’re more of the health foodie type this is the perfect location. He/she can go for beer at the cellar door and you can soak up the rays sipping on chocolate smoothie delishness. See… perfect, life is good!

Blendlove

If healthy cake is your thing then Blendlove is your one and only truelove. You just must go! We visited for cake (duh) but far out the sweet potato chips smelt like hot chip goodness. Not so close to the beach but well worth the trip! It’s actually pretty close to Caffe Republic so you could do lunch there and dessert (or second lunch) at Blendlove.

Social Brew

Far out, we had a great lunch at Social Brew with our Mum after a morning of shopping at Burleigh. We had gluten free fried chicken (hehe fun) and the zucchini crusted pizza. It was serisouly GOOD! The ceiling is filled with lush hanging pot plants (always fun).  We’ve only been once and it’s not enough! We must go back, stat!

Elk Espresso

Elk is another one of our favourites in Broadbeach. We ALWAYS get the breakfast salad. It’s so good and feels like you get your daily greens in one meal. Super cute cafe and close to the beach too! They do the best poached eggs we’ve ever had.

When we like a cafe we really really really like it. The only bad thing is that we haven’t tried them all out coz we go back to the same ones over and over coz they’re the best healthy cafes on the Gold Coast! But we have a bunch of healthy cafes on our to try list so please let us know what else we’re missing and we’ll go and try it and add to the list!

Always merrymaking,

Emma + Carla
