One of the most popular classes from the MerryBody Online Studio, it’s all about letting go of stress and tension. Perfect for troubling and stressful times.

Yoga is scientifically proven to de-stress the body and mind. We do this through movement with breath, this allows us to be completely present within the body.

This practice will encourage you to let go of the past, to ease anxiety about the future and instead, to bring one point of focus to the here and the now. The only time and place where life itself exists.

What equipment do I need for Yoga?

The best thing about using Yoga as a stress-relieving tool is that you don’t need anything but your amazing body! Yes, you’ll see we have Yoga mats in the class, but literally all you need is some space, internet connection and a device to watch the class (which you already have because you’re reading this hehe).

I’m not flexible or fit enough.

We know Yoga can be intimidating but we truly believe that no matter your age, fitness level, flexibility, experience or body size you will feel the magic of Yoga with this class. What should I wear when I do Yoga?

Well, since you’re at home doing this online class you can wear whatever you like! Many of our MerryBody members actually roll out of bed and get on the mat in their PJs. We are all for this, whatever makes it easier for you to get onto the mat! But what we personally like to wear is Yoga pants and either a singlet or long crop top. Anything that allows you to move freely and confidently.
