For the meat eaters out there here’s a recipe for a paleo mexican meatza. A what? A meatza! Think pizza…but made out of meat…oh yeah!

stuff you need
for the base
  1. 500 grams grass fed beef mince
  2. 1 finely diced brown onion
  3. 1 tsp chilli powder
  4. 3 tsp paprika
  5. 1/2 tsp salt
for the top
  1. 3/4 cup of your fave salsa
  2. 1 diced avocado
  3. 1/2 cup of shredded bacon
  4. 1 diced tomato
  5. 1/2 cup of sliced mushrooms
  6. a handful of stuffed olives
  7. 1/2 a bunch of chopped coriander
  8. the juice of a lime (to finish)
now what
  1. Pre heat your oven to 180 degrees celsius.
  2. Line a 30cm square dish with baking paper.
  3. Mix the mince, onion, spices and salt until combined.
  4. Roll the mix into a ball and press evenly into the prepared dish.
  5. Bake the base for ten minutes or until brown.
  6. Now for the fun!
  7. Layer the topping ingredients in the order listed above.
  8. Bake for a further 20 minutes.
  9. Remove from the oven and finish with a squeeze of fresh lime.
  10. Cut into squares and YUM YUM YUM!
