Paleo Spiced Nuts.

These paleo spiced nuts are the easiest way to jazz up a pretty boring snack! Mix and match your favourite herbs and spices!

  1. 1 cup raw pistachios
  2. 1 cup raw cashews
  3. 1 cup raw pumpkin seeds
  4. 1 tbs. melted coconut oil
  5. 1 clove crushed garlic
  6. 1/2 a tsp. ground chilli
  7. 2 tsp. paprika
  8. salt + pepper
  1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees celsius + line a baking tray with baking paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients.
  3. Make sure you mix well to coat all of the nuts in the spices.
  4. Transfer the nuts onto the baking tray + place into the oven for ten minutes.
  5. Allow to cool + enjoy (not all at once though!)

  1. We can think of a million other ways to enjoy these! Come up with some of your own flavour + nut mix rosemary + sea salt OR cumin + turmeric! Delish!

  1. Do you girls activate your nuts and seeds? I was but I found that doing it in the oven sky rocketed my power bill. Just wondering if you knew a cheaper way to dry them out- like a cheap dehydrator or out in the sun????

    Hi Jacque! We recommend that you do activate them but seriously sometimes we just don’t have time! This is one of the reasons why we’ve actually decreased our nut intake! You can pick up cheap dehydrators from homewear shops, just keep an eye out! e + c
