For me (Carla), I remember starting my first Yoga training and learning about the Yoga Philosophy… words like love, kindness, compassion, truth and honesty were all being spoken about… I couldn’t believe there was a blueprint for the way that I was already trying to live my life. A practice that connected and awakened the body, mind and soul.
I’m not religious, never have been but often, as humans we do look for guidelines to follow. Yoga for me was that. Guidelines to human better. Guidelines to help me make decisions. Guidelines on how I wanted to show up in life.
