But also, it’s important to reflect, because maybe we need to give these underrated skills a little more attention!

- How being a loud and boisterous person at a network meeting is overrated.
- Networking and relationship-building can both be overrated and underrated skills.
- Good conversation is an underrated skill, it’s important to listen and respond without bringing yourself into it.
- Assertiveness is another underrated skill, especially for women as we somehow get the msg that it’s something to be ashamed of.
- Empathy is the number 1 underrated skill but how can we work on it and not let our emotions take over?
- Everything is compromised if we cannot manage our stress and thoughts.
- Disciplined and the ability to overcome resistance, more underrated skills.
