Starting your morning with a Yoga practice is one of the greatest things you can do for your health. This life-changing practice allows you to start your day off on the right foot (even if you wake up on the wrong side of the bed ;)).
There’s proof that creating a morning ritual is one of the most powerful things you can do. But we get it, there are only so many hours in your morning! How the heck do you fit everything in? We believe that adding a simple 5-10 minute Yoga practice is more than enough to create a powerful morning ritual.
You don’t need all the candles, music, books, pens, special tea and crystals… by all means use this if you want to… all you need is some space and your amazing body. Let’s keep this simple!

So how do you know what kind of class is ‘right’ for your morning practice?
Well, the great thing with Yoga is that you have the opportunity to set a personal intention.

How? All you need to do is set aside 3 deep breaths before you begin your Yoga asana (postures) to dedicate your practice to your intention. Allow yourself to feel your intention inside your heart space as you breathe.
You can do this by taking your last deep breath in through the nose while lifting your hands above your head, palms touch and then seal it back at the heart space, setting your intention deep within your heart.

We warm up with Sun Salutation C and welcome in some Warrior 2 to build the fire! We bring our focus to the inner seam of the body with Skandasana and wide legged forward fold. Core Flow (just 6 minutes!)
It’s time to slow it all down with a Yoga Core Flow. And wow, the slow burn is real! We have fun with Downward Facing Dog, slow flowing into Plank position. Adding some knee taps for added WOW! We finish the class off with a surprise Navasana (just wait and see!)… you’re going to love it! Remember, with our Yoga flow, we breathe in through the nose and out through the nose. Slow and steady.

This Yoga inspired MerryBody class is all about twisting out the spine. Twisting the spine creates more flexibility and mobility in our spine, it creates a sense of freedom.
