We were chatting to someone who wasn’t quite sure if the MerryBody Yoga Teacher Training was for them. Her main question was about the online factor.
You see, she was talking to a friend who signed up for another online Yoga Teacher Training. It was one of those 90% off deals.
Her friend’s experience wasn’t great.
She said the video and audio quality were bad, that it was just a camera recording in the back of the room of an in person training. The live classes (she was looking forward to those most) were glitchy, and she did not feel a connection with any of the others doing the training.

We want you to actually want to do it, so you actually learn.
Young children often learn best when they are playing. This idea applies to adults as well. You’ll learn a new task better when it’s fun and you’re in a relaxed and playful mood.
This training is filled with life-shifting themes. Some of the lessons are filled with science and anatomy. Many of the themes are serious. But there is an element of joy throughout the course.
Many of the graduates said… they could not wait to see what each week of lessons involved. They were excited to learn and grow.
No dodgy audio or video, this is essential.
Rewind 6 years ago when Carla did her Yin Yoga training. She signed up for an online program.
The sessions were similar to what we mentioned above. It was a camera in the back of the room, with a bunch of other students sitting in the room enjoying a live training.
The trainer spoke to the in-person students. The microphone was dropping in and out of the recording. There was only one camera angle, so you couldn’t see all the poses properly.
We want to reiterate. Quality video and audio are essential for any great online program… and when you hit play on the very first Welcome to MBTT Video, you will see this!
Within the MerryBody Yoga Teacher Training, there are multiple camera angles in each lesson, so you can see each Yoga posture easily and feel engaged by the content. The audio is crystal clear. This quality contributes to your overall learning experience and results.
Make it feel like an in-person training, without it being in-person.

We had coffee and chatted for hours. It was like we all knew each other! It was very special. ❤️

- We do live calls each and every week. This is an opportunity for you to ask questions, share ideas, wins and struggles, and to also hear from other members of the cohort.
- We personally check in via message each and every week. It’s not our team members writing the message, it’s us. You have direct and personal access to us over the 16 weeks. This is not a hands-off course, we are there each step of the way.
- We also give you regular feedback on all your assessments. This creates connection but it also helps you feel supported and motivated throughout your training.

Don’t worry if you miss a live session, everything is recorded for your convenience. You’ll have a full year to complete all assessments, making it super flexible to make sure you can fully immerse yourself in the learning experience. So you enjoy the learning experience!
