Inside the MerryBody Studio, you’ll find a huge selection of Pilates and Yoga classes. Right now, September 2019, there are over 60 classes and we add a brand new class each and every week. Yes, every week so you will never get bored! And you can go back and re-do the classes as many times as you like.
Most of the classes are about 20-30 minutes long but every now and then we add bonus shorter classes.
We made these classes because our members wanted more ab and core focused movements PLUS they wanted shorter Pilates classes to add on the end of Yoga class or to fit in when they were super busy.
Seriously, you will still feel the burn in this short pilates class.
Why should you strengthen your core?
Before you try this class think about why you’d want to work your abs and core. And of course, if your goal is to build a 6 pack… good for you! Ours isn’t. We work and strengthen our cores to feel confident and empowered.
We work the core to promote better posture. To feel like we can move with grace and ease!
We strengthen the abs so we’re less prone to injury. This is especially important as we age. Ahhh seriously so many more reasons… and in our opinions better reasons than 6 packs!

This class is 1 of 4 short 5 minute Pilates abs workout classes inside Merrybody Studio. It’s all about the crunches and leg dips and it’s a guaranteed to work your core and make you smile. YES, you’ll have fun!
Remember to hold belly button towards backbone, elbows are back, don’t scrunch the neck, keep breathing… don’t worry we remind you throughout the entire class. And don’t forget to breathe, inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth.
