It’s time to get inspired with Larina Robinson from The Body Dietetics! Welcome to the merrymaker hub!

About Larina Robinson…

Launching The Body Dietetics in 2013 ticked off my first business goal (of many!). Realising the need to get back to basics with no gimmicks or fad diets, I am on a mission to simplify healthy eating for the individual. I am a Wholefood Dietitian and Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with a passion for wholefoods and especially supporting those with food intolerances (like me!) such as gluten and lactose intolerance, and fructose malabsorption. I help individuals find the diet that suits their lifestyles, health status and unique circumstances whilst still enjoying delicious food and a social life! My own personal dietary journey has led me to a paleo-style diet so I know first-hand the benefits of this eating style and I’m happy to support those wishing to give it a try! Late last year I released my cookbook Wholefood Entertaining for people who love to entertain but aren’t sure what to prepare for those following a paleo or gluten free lifestyle. All the recipes are gluten, dairy and refined sugar free and it’s packed with nutrition tips for a busy schedule. Each day is different for me as I am currently working on my second book, blogging, consulting, having telephone or Skype consults with my clients, writing for Sporteluxe.com, and contributing to a variety of national magazines. I wouldn’t have it any other way! There’s always something brewing behind The Body Dietetics doors so stay tuned!

Share your favourite foodie moment…

Winning a trip to Fiji for the South Pacific Food and Wine Festival was incredible! Meeting Willie Harcourt-Cooze and learning about chocolate from bean to bar, and having fine dining every day was extremely indulgent. But my favourite moment was when my partner and I travelled over to a small island where only one family lived – they offered us freshly caught fish, fresh pineapple slices and a chilled young coconut for lunch with some veggies. We ate it by the beach on a straw mat in our swimmers, with the youngest daughter from the family happily chatting to us about anything and everything! It was so simple, yet so memorable, and the food was unbelievable!

I had no idea how to answer this one so I asked my parents. Apparently I do a ‘happy dance’ every time a recipe I make turns out delicious haha!
