2014 was a huge year for us! Firstly we can’t believe how fast it went! Can you believe it’s nearly 2015?! We can’t… but then we reflect on what we’ve actually done this year and woah have we crammed in a lot! We can definitely say 2014 has been the best year yet for both of us!
To celebrate everything merrymaker and life in general we held A Very Merry Party over the weekend. We invited our close friends, family and people we’ve met through merrymakers (would you call them colleagues? Na… more like friends!).
It was a party to celebrate quitting our jobs, merrymaking full time and the festive season!
Of course we need to share some of the pictures and food with you all! We served up some delicious salads, these all feature in our brand new eBook (coming soon!) ‘Make Your Salad Paleo’. We BBQed some chicken thighs and even got our fave butcher Extra Quality Meats to make PALEO SAUSAGES!
We of course served some wine (it’s a party after all) but we also had refreshing Raw C Coconut Water to quench everyone’s thirst on this hot summer’s day!
We were excited to have the brand new range of local cold press juices on offer by The Fix. Check out all the new flavours, our favourites would have to be ‘Optimise’!
Every party needs some party snacks Like crunchy chippies and macadamia nuts! But hell to the no were we going to serve chips cooked in bad oils! Can we get a huge YAY for Thomas Chipman Chips! We had bags of organic mixed root chips and these went down an absolute treat with ranch dressing made from Bob at Not So Fast Food!
Our guests were lucky enough to sample some amazing paleo treats available from stores all around Australia!
Rumbles Paleo Snacks were droooool-worthy! We had the Anzacta Factors and the Neanderthal nuggets. Plus the ever amazing Loving Earth Luvjus, coconut mylk and caramel flavours (these are by far the best!). We served our sweets with buckets of Booza Icecream… yes, our guests were well fed!
Lastly we just want to say a huge thank you to YOU! For being part of our journey, reading our posts and cooking our recipes! We love you guys to the moon and back times infinity!
