What is Barre?`
Barre is a dynamic blend of ballet-inspired moves, Pilates, Yoga and strength training that strengthens and works your entire body. Using small, isometric movements, Barre focuses on strengthening and stretching, improving your posture and increasing flexibility. All without the need for heavy equipment. You’ll use your own body weight along with light hand weights in some classes.
We want to make sure you know that you do not need to be graceful, coordinated or have a ‘ballet body’ to do barre. The classes we teach are fitness classes and wow do these classes work!
