In this episode, we delve into the importance of self-belief and how it helps you to overcome obstacles and achieve more. It’s something that needs to be practised, it’s not like you believe in yourself once and you’re good to go! We chat about ideas, tools and practices that build self-belief.
This is what we spoke about during the episode
- If you’re not going to believe in yourself, why would you expect anyone else to believe in you?
- “You should never have a plan B. Your plan B should always be to make plan A. happen.” — Jeff Bezos, Amazon founder
- “You can fail at what you don’t want, so you might as well take a chance on doing what you love.” — Jim Carrey
- Train yourself to believe and visualise abundance and all the things you want in life, and you’ll feel better. See: Unlocking Your Potential: A Beginner’s Guide to Visualisation Meditation
- When you feel better, you feel like you can go out into the world and say yes to the opportunities. You can put your best foot forward.
- Ishvara Pranidhana, one of the Niyamas, means surrendering to the divine.
- Our current mantra: See it. Believe it. Feel it. Real it.
- Do things that you’ve never done before. And then you have more belief in yourself.
- Meditation and Yoga are powerful tools to help you feel the potentiality of everything.
- Surround yourself with people who believe in you.
- So often, the reason why we don’t believe in ourselves is because of the anxious and busy mind.
