On New Years Day this year 2019, we started our own 21 day yoga challenge and the experience was completely life-changing. We loved the 21 days of yoga so much we ended up extending to 50 days!
We experienced so many positive changes from 21 days of yoga. From helping Emma get through heartbreak, to both of us feeling less stressed, gaining so much flexibility (so cool to observe and notice) and just feeling more grounded and centred.
We notice when we practise yoga daily we are in better moods (nicer more patient humans!), we’re more grateful, we feel more abundant and like everything flows better.
And this is why we are running our first MerryBody 21 day yoga challenge.

All you need to do to be part of it is sign up and become a Member. The best part, your first 7 days are free and then memberships start from just $6.60 per week (charged monthly or annually).
Each 21 Day Yoga and Pilates Challenge changes each time. You can even go back and do the past challenges, they all have a different theme and purpose.
These are the classes you’ll experience during the 21 Days of Yoga Challenge.
DAY 1- GROUND YOURSELF
This yoga-inspired MerryBody class is all about grounding yourself and awakening your Muladhara Chakra (root Chakra).
DAY 2 – GET HAPPY HIPS
It’s time to get happy hips! Oh yeah! With all the booty burning fun, it’s important that we stretch out our hips and this session is dedicated to that! Did you know that we store a lot of emotion and energy in the hips?
DAY 3 QUICK 10 BEDTIME
A super blissful, relaxing and quick flow perfect to calm down the mind and body. The perfect way to finish a busy day! And yes you can even do it in bed.
DAY 4 – SIDE BODY LENGTHENING
Seriously, this yoga flow is going to make you feel amazing! We often forget to stretch the side body and if you spend a lot of your time in a forward flexion (sitting/driving etc. oops think we all need this!) you’re going to love this!
DAY 5 – IGNITE YOUR CREATIVITY
This Yoga class inspires you to ignite your creativity by awakening Svadisthana Chakra, your Sacral Chakra. The Sacral Chakra is linked directly to pleasure, sensuality, creativity, movement, flow and emotion.
DAY 6 – LUNAR YIN
Prepare for bliss town. This Lunar Yin Yoga is seriously going to stretch out the body. Yin Yoga is all about long hold stretches.
DAY 7 – SLOW FLOW DIGESTION
Oh hello delicious yoga flow. During this session we spend all the time rolling around on the floor, it’s seriously so good.
DAY 8 – QUICK 10 YOUR FLOW
This super quick 10-minute yoga flow is designed to do when you have your period so it’s super nurturing. But don’t worry, it’s perfect to do ANYTIME and yes men will benefit from this flow too (haha).
DAY 9 – I AM CONFIDENT
This Yoga inspired MerryBody class allows you to step into your inner confidence and awaken your Solar Plexus Chakra, which is directly linked to your inner power and strength, inspiring you to feel the fear and do it anyway!
DAY 10 – OPEN YOUR HEART
This Yoga inspired MerryBody session is all about opening your heart space. Allow your light, your truth, your brightness to shine out into the world.
DAY 11 – QUICK 10 SUN SALUTE
This Yoga inspired MerryBody class will create the inner fire! We take you through Sun Salutation A, B and C in just 10 minutes!
DAY 12 – TWISTING GOODNESS
This Yoga inspired MerryBody class is all about twisting out the body. Not only do twists keep our spine healthy but they detox the internal organs, wringing them out of toxins.
DAY 13 – TUNE INTO YOUR HEART
This Yoga inspired MerryBody class allows you to tune into your heart and awaken your Anahata Chakra (or your heart chakra!).
DAY 14 – SPEAK YOUR TRUTH
This Yoga inspired MerryBody class inspires you to SPEAK YOUR TRUTH and awaken your Vishudda Chakra (throat Chakra).
DAY 15 – QUICK 10 SPINAL TWIST
Another 10 minute flow to show how easy it is to get movement and magical twists into your day. These quick twists will help detox the body as well! Ahhh we love yoga!
DAY 16 – DELICIOUS HIPS YIN
Are you ready for another Yin Yoga? Welcome to 29 minutes of delicious hips… and yes, you are about to feel oh so yummy.
DAY 17 – AWAKEN YOUR INNER WISDOM
This Yoga inspired MerryBody class will awaken your Ajna Chakra (third eye Chakra). This is located at the space between your eyebrows
DAY 18 – SLOW FLOW LOVELY LEGS
Another addition to our slow flows and oh this one is deeeee-licious! It’s all about lengthening those lovely legs.
DAY 19 – STANDING STRENGTH
Oh it’s time to test that balance! Find your dristi point (one point of focus) and keep your eye on it! This will help you keep stable.
DAY 20 – CROWN CHAKRA
This Yoga inspired MerryBody class inspires you to awaken and align your Crown Chakra (Sahasrara Chakra).
DAY 21- QUICK 10 DE STRESS
Yoga is scientifically proven to de-stress! SO COOL! And we finish off the 21 days of yoga with this 10 minute flow. It’s a great class to do when you’re feeling anxious or a little stressed.
We’re so excited about this Yoga Challenge. It’s the perfect way to welcome the change in season, a fresh start and brand new beginning.
